Tarazona

Tarazona was kind of a let-down. It was a thriving town in the Middle Ages, but it has kind of gone downhill since then. One of the manuscripts of the Life of St Gerald ended up in Tarazona, so Matt was anxious to go there and find out what he could about the history of the place. Apart from that, though, there was little of real interest to see.

Okay, maybe one interesting thing: an old bull-fighting arena (the circular building with
the big central courtyard), now converted into apartments. This by no means indicates
any decline in interest in bullfighting, which was broadcast regularly on Spanish TV.
